The Legend Survived on the Wind's Breath

I have to admit that I found puppet Ganon to be a little goofy looking my second time watching that cut scene. I guess I didn’t notice the first time around because I was so freaked by Ganondorf’s speech and the creepy music.
All of Wind Waker’s monsters seem to have that weird kinda-cute-but-still-bad-news vibe going for them. (Well, except for the Re-Deads. )

So I was trying to imitate the style used to depict Ganon in the opening for Wind Waker, but I couldn’t cut the paper that intricately. Maybe I need to try this on a larger scale next time. He still looks like a big scary pig though, so it’s got that going for it.
I’m not really sure what you call this style of artwork, other than silhouette. I don’t think it’s really minimalism, right? Augh, it is so very irksome categorizing artwork that isn’t a comic or some sort of literature.

Cut from construction paper in maybe about three hours.
