I was so happy because I was able to use my gray marker to make the perfect shading on Artemis’ hair. Then my scanner decided that it couldn’t pick it up.

I didn’t realize just how much Artemis changed from season one to two until I set out to draw this picture. Her trepidation about falling into the "family business" colored every move she made and made her so insecure. I was always pulling for her that first season and that was without knowing who she was or what she was so worried about. When I found out her tragic past and just how strong she really was (being there for her Mom at such a young age) I couldn’t help but love her all the more.
And then when she became Tigress…wow. She had so much more to lose, but she charged into her undercover mission so readily and even adapted a persona that really did reminisce of her assassin of a sister’s secret identity! And by the end of it all, she keeps the new Persona. She isn’t running away from anything anymore (not even certain tragedies that hit her in the end). She’s amazing!
